NatWest PCA Awards 2012

Thursday 20th September, Battersea Evolution

The close of September saw the PCA celebrate the end of the domestic season with the annual NatWest PCA Awards. As always, this was the most prestigious event in the cricketing calendar attended by the stars of the English game past and present, including the new England Test Captain, Alastair Cook. This was the PCA’s first time holding the event at Battersea Evolution and was a resounding success in the eyes of clients and players alike.

After kicking off the evening with a Champagne reception, guests were treated to a four-course dinner with complimentary drinks.

The night’s charity auction was championed by Jonny Gould, who served to both inspire and entertain. A fantastic amount of money was raised for the PCA Benevolent Fund, with the top prize of an Ultimate Tickets Package going for £15,000.

After the awards ceremony, the celebrations continued with a rocking performance from The Feeling, followed by enlivening DJ sets from Radio 1’s Greg James and Mark Fellowes.

Top awards on the night were won by Nick Compton, crowned NatWest PCA Player of the Year and Joe Root, winning NatWest PCA Young Player of the Year.
