Weather Patterns
The trekking season extends from mid-September to May. From early September the monsoonal rains decrease. By mid-October through to December the weather is usually stable with mild to warm days, cold nights and clear views. Daytime temperatures can reach 25 deg C at low altitude and nights can drop to below -15 deg C at higher altitudes.
The weather patterns are never so predictable that you can be absolutely positive of weather conditions before hand, but there are well-established patterns. Daytime temperatures and night temperatures at lower altitudes vary through the seasons, but night temperatures at high altitude are cold whatever the season. Modern equipment and clothing will keep you warm.
