The PCA Masters brings together County and International stars, both past and present, to play in bespoke matches. They have been entertaining cricket lovers for more than a decade, playing in matches against touring, representative and club sides.
The Masters team has included modern stars such as Kevin Pietersen, Matt Prior and Paul Collingwood alongside legends of the game including Darren Gough, Jimmy Adams, Andrew Flintoff and Muttiah Muralitharan. The high-calibre players who have worn a Masters shirt have faced the likes of the Australian, Sri Lankan and West Indian touring sides, in addition to County teams, recreational clubs. They have also participated in corporate/private cricket events.
The PCA Masters continue to go from strength to strength, building the profile of the PCA, and raising valuable funds for the PCA Benevolent Fund and hosting cricket clubs. The PCA Masters events bring together players, commercial partners, amateur enthusiasts and cricket fans in a unique way.
The Masters possess a wealth of experience and the players relish the opportunity to pass this on during matches, through coaching clinics and over drinks at the bar once the day’s play has concluded. Whether the Masters are playing an international or a local side, the legacy of the fixture lives on long after stumps are drawn.
