Lees Lloyd Whitley To Advise Cricket Stars – 20/01/2005 The Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) has appointed North West law firm Lees Lloyd Whitley as its legal partner to provide services to its 400 UK members. Lees Lloyd Whitley has been a business partner of the PCA for 2 years and has up until now provided a dedicated will-writing service. Full Range Of Services The firm will now broaden its offer to PCA members to include a full range of legal services, including practical advice on conveyancing, wills, employment, matrimonial issues, personal injury, road traffic prosecutions and accidents. Lees Lloyd Whitley will also advise members on contract issues as well provide commercial advice to former playing members who may be setting up their own business. The PCA safeguards the rights and welfare of past and current first class cricketers, provides a range of educational, insurance, financial and legal services and promotes the sport of cricket. The Lees Lloyd Whitley team will be led by managing partner Graham Smith, a keen cricket fan and amateur player, who has also advised individual PCA members for several years.
