Voting is now open to choose your PCA Player of the Month winners for July with all eight nominees having an outstanding month on a personal level.

The top four women’s and men’s domestic players have been announced using the PCA’s Most Valuable Player Rankings, powered by OFX, with these awards being the fourth out of a total of six iterations this season.

In the women’s game, Durham and New Zealand star Suzie Bates leads the PCA MVP charts after securing 113.23 points over the past month. The 37-year-old has had an excellent July on a personal level after recently winning the Vitality Blast Women’s Player of the Year. She is joined by The Blaze’s all-rounder pair of Kathryn Bryce and Georgia Elwiss along with Lancashire’s opening batter Emma Lamb. The trio all return as nominees together after a month’s absence.

Meanwhile, all-rounders took centre stage in the men’s game in July. Lancashire’s Chris Green produced an outstanding run which saw him top the Men’s MVP standings for July with 179.73 points. He is joined by Worcestershire’s Ethan Brookes, Surrey and England star Will Jacks and Rehan Ahmed, who continues to lead Leicestershire’s charge for promotion in the Rothesay County Championship.

The players are selected by the PCA’s Most Valuable Player Rankings, powered by OFX, which picks out the game’s top performers across every single fixture. This then forms the rankings for each competition, as well as an overall table which is how the top four are selected. The MVP takes into account batting, bowling and fielding contributions as well as match defining efforts using a unique algorithm developed by CricViz.

The PCA Player of the Month will be decided by a 50:50 split between the PCA MVP Rankings and the public vote with the poll closing on 2 August at 10pm. With a short window to have your say, vote now to pick your winner of the July awards.
