Brit Insurance To Become Lead Sponsor Of PCA – 12/11/2004 Brit Insurance, the UK-based international insurance Group, is to become the joint lead sponsor of the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) for the 2005 cricket season. High Profile Sponsorship The one-year deal, announced today (12.11.04), further strengthens Brit Insurance’s commercial ties with the game which already include the high profile sponsorship of Surrey CCC, The Brit Oval and the Bunburys Cricket Club. The agreement once again underlines Brit’s commitment to support the game at all levels. Sponsorship monies generated from the deal will contribute towards the funding of the PCA’s highly successful ‘Cricket in the Community’ schemes and will also be used to maintain ongoing PCA initiatives aimed at providing support to current and former professionals.
