Celebrating a shared passion for cricket, the 903 Club – named after England’s record score of 903-7 declared against Australia in 1938 – will provide a forum for companies to interact and to support the PCA’s aim of promoting and protecting the interest of past and present players. Members of the club, who will benefit from exclusive Ashes hospitality, a range of networking events, an annual business conference, regular member communications and discounted priority booking for PCA events, already include longstanding PCA supporters Accenture, Brit Insurance, Regus and Natwest. Richard Bevan, PCA Richard Bevan, PCA group chief executive, said: ” Along with the golf course, cricket is known as a great sport through which to network or entertain clients. The PCA, with the support of the CBI, has launched the 903 Club to ensure that the organisation’s corporate supporters receive maximum value from their financial support of the game. That includes the very best networking opportunities at the season’s premier cricket events.” Sir Digby Jones Sir Digby Jones, CBI director general, said: ” Sport and business are inseparable friends and cricket has always provided companies with excellent business opportunities. ” Our members consistently report that networking with other like-minded companies is a highly effective marketing tool.
