Gavin Hamilton announced as pca business development manager The Professional Cricketers’ Association is delighted to announce that Gavin Hamilton has joined its Commercial team as Business Development Manager, reporting to Johnny Grave, PCA Commercial Director. As a cricketer, Gavin was an allrounder who played with distinction for Yorkshire and Durham, and he is one of an extremely select group who have played internationally for both England and Scotland. Since his retirement from the game in 2005, Gavin has enjoyed a successful sales career with the Caledonian Brewing Company,becoming National Account Manager, and Head of Sales for England. Angus Porter, PCA Chief Executive, said, “Gavin is a tremendous addition to the PCA team. He will add considerable skills and relevant experience to our sales and account management activities, and provides a great role model for current cricketers, having transitioned well from life as a very successful cricketer into an equally successful second career.” Gavin responded, “I am delighted to be joining the PCA, an organisation whose work on behalf of players I have always admired, and I look forward to playing my part in its continuing success.” {{ak_sharing}}
