An all-format bowler, Gibson made his first team debut for Durham back in 2022 and has since gone on to make 23 appearances for the senior side, picking up 35 wickets along the way. He spent the 2024 season playing for the second XI where he managed to take nine wickets in the T20 tournament before getting released at the end of the season.
