Olly Cox played second XI cricket for Worcestershire in 2024. In 2023, he was named as the Wisden Schools Cricketer of the Year, an accolade previously won by the likes of Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler and Jacob Bethell. The right-handed batter made his senior debut for the Rapids in a tour game against New Zealand in 2023 where he scored 63 off 36 balls. He was also called up by his native Canada for a training camp ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in 2024.
