Sam Evans is an opening batter who played for Leicestershire before getting released at the end of the 2024 season. He made his last first team appearance in 2023 after playing 34 First-Class matches where he scored almost 1,500 runs, including four centuries. The 27-year-old right-handed batter played second XI cricket in 2024 and scored 210 against Notts in his final game of the season.
