    Thilan Walallawita played for Middlesex’s second XI in 2024 having previously made 35 appearances for the first team across all formats. The left-arm spinner took 27 wickets for Middlesex with a career best of 3-28. In his last second XI game for the county, he took 11 wickets against Yorkshire second XI in September 2024, ending the campaign as the leading wicket-taker with 36 scalps at an average of 23.88.
